It's not a pain or tension problem.
It’s a FEAR problem.
This bootcamp is for you if…
You've tried everything, but the tightness or pain in your throat keeps coming back.
Debilitating perfectionism keeps you frozen or you’re just too overwhelmed to know even where to start.
You’re in chronic pain or tension.
You've started wondering if you're just too sensitive, too anxious, lazy or just not cut out for this.
But the truth is your nervous system was never taught how to feel safe and that's not a personal flaw, it's a missing skill. Your nervous system needs training.
Your Guide

I've been a professional singer/songwriter for over a decade now. I've won multiple New England Music Awards, opened for Bon Jovi, made it to the top 30 on American Idol, wrote and recorded tons of records, and performed hundreds of shows. But the intense pressure, perfectionism, a voice disorder diagnoses, chronic pain, stage fright, anxiety, and burnout almost took me out.
Doctors shrugged. One even told me to quit singing. I felt hopeless and ashamed, maybe I wasn't strong enough or cut out for this kind of career. I tried everything: speech therapy, physical therapy, medication, talk therapy, voice lessons. Some of it helped but none of it brought back my joy, my freedom, or my TRUST.
Eventually I understood that my symptoms were a dysregulated nervous system, not a personal failure. The real shift came from nervous system education and regulation tools, a paradigm shift in how I approached the stage and my audience, and learning to actually listen and work with my body instead of overriding it.
Nervous system education finally helped me understand what was happening to me. It gave me the tools to heal, to find vocal freedom, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. And that's exactly what I want to walk you through over these three days together.
How Does it
Work?
3 live days. 3 building blocks.
Name your state. Regulate. Superplay.
The Regulated Singer consists of 3 live workshops online (Tuesday July 28th - Thursday July 30th, 7-8pm EST)
Each day we will have a different focus; name your state, regulate, super play, and after each workshop I will assign homework for you to complete before the next session, such as naming your state on the nervous system ladder and shifting your state, so that you can integrate the education and tools into your vocal practice and daily life.
The Regulated Singer gives you the map of your nervous system and the tools to navigate it, so you can move out of chronic dysregulation and into a more regulated, free and embodied experience of singing.
You'll also join a community of singers on the same journey. After the course has ended there will be the opportunity to stay in touch via my private WhatsApp group where you can continue to share, support each other and heal together.
Day One
Name Your State
Tuesday July 28th 7-8pm EST
On Day 1 we learn how to name our state. To do this you need to understand the polyvagal ladder and the three states we can move between: safe and social, fight/flight, and freeze. You'll learn what each state feels like, how to identify it in yourself, and why your body goes there in the first place.
You'll leave with a nervous system cheat sheet to carry with you and practice naming your state throughout the day, and bring what you notice back to the group in our WhatsApp community.
You'll leave Day 1 with a clear understanding of what you've been experiencing, grounded in science. This is your biology. This is how your body keeps you safe.
Day Two
Regulate
Wednesday July 29th 7-8pm EST
Now that you understand how to name your state lets learn how to change it! On Day 2 we learn how to change our state, on purpose and on command. Each nervous system state has its own specific protocol, including how to stay in safe and social when you're already there, and we will practice them together live on the call. You'll learn breathing techniques and gentle movements to shift the stuck energy of freeze, and physical practices to flush cortisol and adrenaline from your system when you're in fight or flight.
You'll leave with a protocol sheet so you know exactly what to do when you notice yourself in freeze, fight or flight, and how to regulate. To put what you learned on day 2 into practice, here's your homework: throughout the day, practice shifting your state, and bring what you notice back to the group in our WhatsApp community.
Day Three
Play
Thursday July 30th 7-8pm EST
Now you can name your state and regulate! On Day 3, we'll explore the 4th nervous system state: Superplay. This is the state singers, creatives, and performers shift into to get out of their heads. A state of play and pretend that opens up freedom in the voice.
Most singers get stuck objectifying their voice, constantly monitoring, analyzing, and evaluating every sound they make. This is necessary when you're working on technique, but if you stay there it becomes your worst enemy. To sing with freedom, you have to let that go. Superplay is how.
Superplay is a state of play and pretend that gets you out of your own head and into the present moment. We'll practice accessing it together on the call, and you'll have the option to sing and explore applying Superplay live with me, then learn how to bring it directly into your singing. For singers who have been avoiding singing altogether, Superplay is especially powerful because it replaces pressure with fun, safety, and ease, making singing feel accessible again.
When you can access Superplay, your voice stops being something you monitor and judge. It becomes what it was always meant to be: a vehicle for telling stories, creating connection, and communicating from the heart.
You'll leave Day 3 with a clear, practiced way to access regulation when it counts most. In lessons, rehearsals, performances, or any moment when you need your voice to show up for you.

FAQ
Do I need to be a great singer to do this?
Not at all. This is nervous system training for singers of all levels. The work is about your nervous system, not your range.
Will I need to be on camera or mic during the workshops?
You'll be on mute except during discussions, and cameras on are encouraged.
What should I expect each day?
Each day includes short exercises to experiment and try things out.
Will I get to sing and receive feedback?
On Day 3, there's an opportunity to sing and receive feedback, though this is always optional. If you'd like that opportunity, please be warmed up and bring a song to the last session.
What if I can't make all three sessions live?
Show up for as many as you can, you'll get the replay for anything you miss, so you won't fall behind. That said, the live, in-the-moment practice is where most of the breakthroughs happen, so I'd encourage you to carve out the time if you can.
Is this just another version of vocal lessons I've already tried?
No. Most vocal training focuses on the mechanics of your voice and stops there. This focuses on the nervous system underneath those mechanics, the part that's actually been getting in your way. We layer singing on top of it, but the foundation is different.
I have a lot of performance anxiety. Do I have to sing in front of anyone?
This bootcamp is designed for exactly that. We build slowly, starting with simply naming your state before ever asking you to perform or share anything. Sharing your voice with the group is always optional, never required.
What happens after the three days?
You'll walk away with a working map of your nervous system and tools to use it, on stage or off. If you want to go further, you'll have the option to apply your work to a deeper, more personalized path with me, but there's zero obligation.

The Missing Piece
Most vocal training works on the voice from the outside in. This works from the inside out. Whether you're pushing through every rehearsal and performance or you've stepped back from singing altogether, the root is the same: a nervous system that doesn't feel safe. This is where we address that.
